- $2,950,000 on behalf of two children following an apartment fire in which their mother and brother were killed. The surviving girl suffered brain damage from smoke inhalation and the surviving boy suffered minor injuries from which he fully recovered.
- $2,850,000 on behalf of the family of a man who was killed when his vehicle was struck by debris from a truck. The man was survived by his wife, two minor children and two adult children from a previous marriage.

- $2,400,000 in a boiler explosion case involving the wrongful death of a 25-year-old man. The man was working in the boiler room while the boiler was being tested. The boiler exploded, killing the man instantly.

- $1,536,921 on behalf of a 36 year-old man whose wheel chair was struck by a garbage truck as the man tried to cross a busy road. He used a motorized chair due to pre-existing rheumatoid arthritis. The crash resulted in a hip fracture that required surgery and caused the man to lose additional function.
- $1,300,000 on behalf of a 61 year-old woman with E. coli O157:H7 poisoning and hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) as a result of consuming adulterated meat.
- $1,225,666 on behalf of a 50 year-old female who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury when the vehicle she was operating was struck by a farm sprayer that failed to stop at a rural intersection.
- $1,200,000 on behalf of a 51 year-old woman who developed an E. coli infection as a result of eating adulterated hamburger. The resulting abdominal damage required extensive surgery and caused partial loss of bowel function.
