A Successful Fundraiser For the Highland Friendship Club
On Saturday, Dec. 5, Pritzker Olsen attorneys and staff turned out to support the third annual Lanes for Friendship bowling fundraiser, which benefits the Highland Friendship Club based in St. Paul, Minn. The event raised more than $32,000 in support of the club’s mission to “give teens and young adults with disabilities the chance to connect with friends – with and without disabilities – and create a typical social life.”
This amounts to almost a quarter of the Friendship Club’s operating budget, said Executive Director Mary McKeown, and it allows the club to continue popular activities including art classes, movie nights and Wednesdays at the Jewish Community Center teen lounge.
